We’re excited to welcome committed students into our upcoming 200hr Yoga Teacher Training, held at The Redefine Studio in Maroochydore, on the beautiful Sunshine Coast—home to some of the most stunning beaches and surf breaks in the world.
This training is delivered across two 4-week integration blocks (in-person weekends spaced to support real integration), plus a final integration & assessment weekend.
Over the course of the training, students receive 12 months access to Mahara Shala Online Studio, alongside in-depth education in Yoga, Ayurveda, meditation, and embodied philosophy.
Two Pathways
This year, we’re offering two ways to join—so you can choose the container that matches your intention:
1) Certified Pathway (Teacher Training)
For students who wish to teach and receive certification. This pathway includes teaching practicum, assessment, and all required components aligned with a professional teacher training.
2) Personal Practice Pathway (Non-Certification)
For students who want the full depth of the training for personal practice, study, and self enquiry—without the pressure of teaching assessments or certification requirements. You’ll receive the same curriculum, community, and immersion in the practices, with an assessment structure oriented toward reflection and integration rather than teaching performance.
About the Training
Laura Humphreys’ Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training and Ayurvedic studies bring together knowledge from multiple yoga traditions, shaped through over a decade of practice and teaching—alongside the triumphs, the lessons, and the real-world pitfalls that refine a teacher’s path.
This course is open to anyone with a passion for yoga who feels ready to embark on a transformative journey of self-discovery—deepening knowledge, refining awareness, and unraveling the depth of who you are through the practices of yoga and meditation.
The training is designed to give students practical skills to teach biomechanically sound, intelligently sequenced classes, while also developing a deep understanding of the yogic method—free from rigid dogma—so you can create philosophy-infused experiences that awaken, inspire, and support your students to move beyond self-imposed limitations.
