Retreat Terms & Conditions

Radiance Retreat – The 7 Portals to Radiance
20th – 27th November 2025 | Ubud, Bali

Retreat fees are payable in full upfront via credit card, debit card, or bank transfer.
Klarna is available as a flexible payment option. By choosing Klarna, you enter into a separate agreement with Klarna and are bound by Klarna’s terms and conditions. Mahara Shala is not responsible for Klarna’s fees, schedules, or policies.
Retreat pricing is in AUD and includes GST where applicable.

All retreat payments are collected in full at the time of booking.
Of the total retreat fee, 25% is treated as a non-refundable deposit.
Cancellations made before 21st September 2025 (60 days prior to retreat start) will be refunded 75% of the total retreat fee (deposit retained).
Cancellations made on or after 21st September 2025 are non-refundable.
No refunds will be issued for early departure, late arrival, or no-shows.
Retreat transfers to another person may be possible with written approval from Mahara Shala.

7 nights accommodation
- Private room with private bathroom (own bedroom & ensuite).
- Twin-share room with shared bathroom (shared with one other retreat guest).
All meals at the retreat venue, except 2 lunches and 2 dinners, which are free for guests to explore local cuisine at their own cost.
Airport transfers at the designated group arrival and departure times (outside these times, guests must arrange their own transfers).
Daily morning yoga, pranayama, and meditation sessions.
Evening yin, restorative, or yoga nidra classes.
1 x massage per guest.
2 x workshops.
2 x philosophy lectures.
1 x guided cultural excursion to a traditional Balinese water temple.

All guests are required to purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, cancellations, and retreat participation.
Proof of insurance (policy details) must be submitted to Mahara Shala at least 10 days before the retreat.

Guests are responsible for disclosing any medical conditions, injuries, or dietary needs at the time of booking.
Participation in yoga, meditation, and excursions is voluntary and undertaken at the guest’s own risk.
Mahara Shala and facilitators are not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages incurred during travel or retreat participation.

A sample schedule will be provided before arrival.
The daily program (classes, workshops, excursions) is subject to change at the discretion of Mahara Shala due to weather, safety, or other circumstances.

Guests are expected to conduct themselves respectfully towards fellow participants, staff, and local culture.
Mahara Shala reserves the right to remove any participant behaving in a way that is disruptive, disrespectful, or unsafe, without refund.

By attending this retreat, you consent to being photographed or filmed during classes and activities.
Images and recordings may be used by Mahara Shala for promotional purposes (website, social media, marketing).
If you prefer not to appear in promotional media, please notify us in writing before the retreat begins.

This retreat requires a minimum of 6 participants to run.
In the unlikely event that minimum numbers are not met, Mahara Shala reserves the right to cancel the retreat and will provide a full refund of all payments made.
Mahara Shala is not responsible for any additional costs (flights, visas, insurance, etc.) incurred by participants.

Mahara Shala shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing obligations under these Terms & Conditions if such failure or delay is due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, pandemics, travel restrictions, political unrest, strikes, or other unforeseen events.
In such cases, retreat fees may be credited towards a rescheduled retreat or alternative program at Mahara Shala’s discretion.

By completing payment for this retreat, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the above terms and conditions.
