Mapping Self: 2 DAY EMBODIED IMMERSION

EARLY BIRD - BOOK NOW

 A 2-Day Immersion
11–12 April | Noosa Hinterland

Mapping Self is a two-day, in-person intensive exploring how neurobiology, habit patterns, and lived experience shape the way we move through our lives—and how embodied yoga practices can support conscious, sustainable change.

This immersion sits at the intersection of neuroscience, attachment theory, and yoga, offering a practical and compassionate framework for understanding behaviour, reactivity, and relational patterns. Rather than focusing on self-improvement or bypassing discomfort, the work invites a deeper inquiry into how patterns are formed, maintained, and softened over time.

This immersive experience is more than a retreat—it’s a space to map where you are, understand the season you are in, and create practices that support clarity, conscious choice, and connection. It invites reflection, awareness, and transformation, all within a grounded, embodied framework.

Suitable for practitioners, teachers, and anyone committed to understanding themselves more deeply, Mapping Self offers a unique opportunity to explore, learn, and emerge with insight, presence, and renewed capacity for choice.

This is a non-residential immersion (no accommodation included) where you can return home each evening.

Laura Humphreys

Mahara Shala - Sunshine Coast

Laura Humphreys is a e-RYT 500 senior yoga teacher, educator, and facilitator with over a decade of experience in yoga, meditation, prāṇāyāma, and embodied inquiry. Her work is rooted in traditional yogic practice while remaining deeply relevant to modern life.

Laura has a strong interest in neuroscience and habit formation, particularly in how yogic practices offer practical tools for understanding patterns of behaviour, attention, and reactivity. She approaches these themes through a yogic lens — using movement, breath, meditation, and self-study to support awareness, regulation, and conscious choice.

Known for her grounded and thoughtful teaching style, Laura creates spaces that prioritise presence, inquiry, and integration over performance or spiritual bypassing. Her work invites students to meet themselves honestly and develop practices that support sustainable change from the inside out.

Leah Millward

ResourceYourself – Sunshine Coast

Leah Millward is Senior Social Worker (AASW registered), practitioner and facilitator specialising in attachment theory, family systems, and nervous system-informed practice. She is the founder of ResourceYourself Sunshine Coast, where she supports individuals and families in understanding how early relationships, family dynamics, and lived experiences shape patterns of behaviour and emotional response.

Leah’s work draws on neurobiology, trauma-aware frameworks, and attachment theory, helping people recognise relational patterns and develop greater capacity for regulation, self-compassion, and resilience. Her approach is practical, grounded, and deeply relational, offering language and tools that support insight.

Leah brings professional depth and grounded clarity to conversations around family origin stories, ancestral influences, and attachment patterns. Her ongoing personal interest with yoga and Ayurvedic philosophy, has been the motivation to partner up with Laura and bring a meaningful understanding and embodied integration—honouring the nervous system, the body’s rhythms, and the seasons of life—within both personal and group settings.
